As a BA, I sometimes have to deal with difficult stakeholders too as a part of my job. In my current role, I’ve been resolving issues with empathy, action, and proper communication. For instance, I recently had a stakeholder who had repeated questions about the project. I explained to her the whole project plan, but she still had questions. I created a guide with visuals explaining each diagram, which helped her understand the plan better. I my opinion, the only way to deal with challenging stakeholders is by being patient and making them feel heard. It’s all about winning their confidence.
